Hurricane protection without replacing your existing warehouse rollup door

A Secure Door’s vertical brace is pictured below on the inside of a typical non-wind loaded steel door.

Florida Building Code approved (FL11611); passed ASTM E330 wind speed testing standards.
Patented with a unique design that enables the brace to fit almost all warehouse doors up to 14’ in height. The number needed depends on the width of the door, the characteristics of the building and the wind speed pressure protection desired.
Brackets attach to both sides of the storm resistant roll up door and then hooks on the brace attach into the brackets to keep the door from blowing in or being sucked out (see “installation instructions” tab for details on the feature).
The brace is anchored into the lentil above the door, into the warehouse floor, and to the rolling door about every two feet with brackets mounted onto the door.
Made of high-quality aluminum that is relatively lightweight yet incredibly strong.
Mounts on the door on the opposite side from the roll.
Accommodates a lock to permit locking the storm resistant roll up door and brace after the brace is installed.
Does not remain permanently attached to the garage door.

Once the initial installation is complete, the wind resistant roll-up garage Secure Door™ is removed until needed. When not in use, only the bracket (attached to the header above the door) and the floor plate remain permanently in place. The floor plate fits flush and inconspicuously out of the way on the warehouse floor. After the initial installation is complete, each Secure Door™ brace can be put in place should a hurricane threaten (and subsequently taken down) in less than five minutes.
